    Who we are

This policy explains in detail how “IzzyIs” along with its affiliated companies (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “IzzyIs”, “https://izzyis.net/”, “https://tools.izzyis.net/“) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter “your information”). Our website address is: https://izzyis.net/.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Your email address: this will only be stored if you give us it. We may use your email to: ask for more information when sending feedback, contact for business inquiries, and optionally opt-in emails for our products and services.

    Contact Forms

We use Google Forms to collect feedback and bug reports. Please see their privacy policy for more information.

We use Fluent Forms to collect your email address for informational and promotional content with accordance with your marketing preferences. You can choose to stop or withdraw consent receiving these emails altogether by following the unsubscribe instructions included in every email. Please email [email protected] if you have any issues with unsubscribing from the emails.

    Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

What happens to information you type

When you make a QR code, the link, text, or Wi-Fi details you enter are turned into a code by JavaScript running on your own device. That content is not uploaded to IzzyIs, not stored on our servers, and not shared with advertisers or analytics providers.

If you accept analytics cookies, we may record general events, such as “a PNG file was saved” or “a Wi-Fi code was made”. These events never include the content of your code.

    Cookies and similar technology

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technology includes local storage and tracking pixels. We group what we use into three types.

    Strictly necessary

We save your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage under the name izzyis-cookie-consent-v1, so we don’t ask you again on every visit. This doesn’t identify you and is never sent to us. Because it’s needed to respect your choice, it doesn’t require consent.

    Analytics (only with your consent)

Google Analytics helps us see how many people visit, which pages they use, and roughly where they’re from at the country or city level.

    Advertising (only with your consent)

Google AdSense shows ads on our pages. With your consent, Google and its ad partners may use cookies to show ads based on your interests, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure ad performance.

    Google Analytics and AdSense

Google LLC provides both services. When they’re active, Google may collect your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you visit, and how you interact with ads. Google acts as an independent controller for some of this data. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you accept, Google Analytics and AdSense are not loaded and no Google cookies are set by our pages. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland may also see a consent message from Google itself before ads are shown.

Why we are allowed to process data

If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the GDPR and similar laws require a legal reason for processing personal data.

    • Consent covers analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw it anytime.
    • Legitimate interests cover basic server logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to keep the site secure and working.

    International transfers

Izzyls is based in the United States, and Google may process data in the US and other countries. Google participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses Standard Contractual Clauses to protect data transferred from Europe.

Who we share your data with

This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. We may use QUIC.cloud services to process & cache your data temporarily. Please see https://quic.cloud/privacy-policy/ for more details.

How long we retain your data

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
Hosting server logs are kept according to our hosting provider’s policy, typically no more than 30 days.

We retain your information we receive as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected. To dispose of personal data, we may anonymize it, delete it or take other appropriate steps. Data may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for additional time.

What choices you have over your data

What rights you have over your data

Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK, and USA, you may have the right to:

    • Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy
    • Have inaccurate data corrected or your data deleted
    • Object to or limit how we use your data
    • Opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal data
    • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
    • Complain to your local data protection authority

Because we don’t collect names, emails, or accounts, most data linked to you is held by Google. To make a request, email [[email protected]] and we’ll respond within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
